Anuj takes Anupama to a temple. They look at each other. Anuj says there are 2 people in this temple in front of whom he can’t life, first god and second Anupama. He says he knows she trusts her Anuj completely, but he doesn’t know if he trusts himself. He tried many times to reveal her truth, but fail; today he will at any cost. He says he fell in his own eyes and hence couldn’t look into her eyes; she was silent even after she was right, but should have held his collar and question him; he forgot that small mistakes turn big, happen for a second but suffered for whole life; he broke her heart knowingly or unknowingly, etc., and insists her to question him and fight but not be silent. He breaks down holding her feet and says he will die in guilt if she doesn’t.
Anupama stands teary eyed. Hamesha Tumko Chaha… song plays in the background. Anupama asks what shall she say now when she didn’t then. Anuj says she should have then and even now; she didn’t question him and accepted easily when he gave his verdict over phone. Anupama says pleading was against her self-respect and fight against his happiness; she doesn’t want his love by force, he gave it to someone else without thinking much; she knows he was under some pressure or else he wouldn’t have done this. Hamesha Tumko Chaha… song continues to play in the background. Anupama says she knew he can’t answer her and hence she didn’t question him. Anuj asks how could she tolerate her husband attending her son’s wedding with another woman and sitting for pooja with another woman; he can’t tolerate Vanraj even taking her name and wants to break his mouth. He takes god’s oath and says he eagerly wanted to meet her and correct all his mistakes, but then something happened which didn’t let her meet him. Anupama asks what had happened that day.
He continues how he pushed Maaya away when she tried to forcefully get intimate with her and head towards airport when Little Anu called him and was crying loudly, so he returned to Little Anu and saw blood on her hand; Little Anu took her to Maaya who was found unconscious and bleeding on floor maybe because he pushed her away to leave her house; he couldn’t see his daughter’s mother dying and rushed her to hospital where doctor informed that Maaya suffered mental trauma and can get violent, hence someone should be with her always. Maaya wakes up and behaves psychotically shouting at Anuj not to leave her. Out of flashback, Anuj says he felt guilty that his daughter’s biological mother’s condition was because of him and he wanted her to get well at any cost. He apologizes Anupama for not calling her ad informing what had happened.
